TaxiDiaspora is an online platform that connects people who need transport (customers) with carriers offering passenger, parcel or vehicle transport between countries anywhere in the world.

2. The platform's role

TaxiDiaspora is an intermediary. The transport contract is concluded directly between the customer and the carrier. The carrier is responsible for carrying out the trip, for the licences their activity requires and for complying with the applicable road, customs and tax law.

3. Your account

• You need an account to post requests or offers.
• Your account details must be real and up to date. Carriers may be asked to verify their identity.
• You are responsible for the activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time from the app settings.

4. Requests, offers and prices

Prices shown on the route pages are indicative, estimated from the distance or from published offers. The final price is the one in the offer the customer accepts. Posting a request is free.

5. Escrow payment

When payment goes through the platform, the amount is held by our payment-processing partner and released to the carrier once the trip is completed, under the rules shown in the app at the time of payment. In case of a dispute, the amount stays blocked until it is resolved.

6. Users' obligations

• Do not carry, or accept for carriage, prohibited or dangerous goods.
• Keep to what you agreed in the chat: time, pick-up points, luggage.
• Do not use the platform to get around payment or to collect other users' data.
• Reviews must describe a real experience.

7. Account suspension

We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, receive repeated complaints or pose a risk to other users.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, TaxiDiaspora is not liable for delays, damage or loss occurring during transport, which are the carrier's responsibility. The platform is provided "as is", in beta, and some features may change or be temporarily unavailable.

9. Personal data

We process data under the Privacy policy and use cookies under the Cookie policy.

10. Disputes

These terms are governed by Romanian law. Consumers may contact the Romanian consumer protection authority ANPC (anpc.ro), the consumer authority in their own country, or the European Online Dispute Resolution platform.
